EMerge is a coaching programme designed to guide Engineering Managers on their journey to be inspiring leaders.
Moving beyond technical management, I work with EMs to develop the essential skills to motivate teams, drive innovation, and create lasting impact. Through personalised coaching and practical frameworks, EMs learn to balance technical excellence with people leadership, turning their management role into a platform for inspiring others and achieving exceptional results.
The unique challenges EMs face – from hitting project deadlines to managing diverse personalities – frequently create tension and undermine team effectiveness. When you add in organisational dynamics, it increases the pressure on the EMs.
Having faced these challenges firsthand, I’m passionate about helping EMs build their own leadership playbook – one that helps them navigate challenges with confidence and become the leader they aspire to be.
How does EMerge work?
EMerge is a 3 or 6-month one-to-one coaching programme.
Every EM faces unique challenges depending on their experience, team, and organisation. That’s why EMerge starts with understanding what matters most to you right now.
Rather than following a rigid curriculum, we’ll identify your key focus areas together and adapt our sessions based on your day-to-day reality.
I’ve found that most EMs are developing core management skills alongside challenges specific to one of three key stages. We can explore relevant areas depending on where you are.
Core management skills
